Tim, take me! - The View today

I watch this inanity so you don’t have to.

Oy. An entire hour of Hot Topics. Thanks for cancelling, Barack. I’ll never vote for you just for that (oh, and for all that wacky stuff that comes out of your mouth).

Whoopi had a muscle spasm that she felt all the way in her hoo-hah. I don’t get muscle spasms there; I get the tingles. And not the good kind that my hubby gives me (though I do get those — but I’m usually expecting those when they happen). The bad kind caused by seizures in my brain. Fun fun!

Elisabeth is all kinds of horny, but with her stomach so big, she can’t move. So she just says, “Tim, take me!” and that’s about it. Poor Tim.

They had this whole discussion on how flip-flopping among politicians is sometimes just them growing up and changing their minds. OR it’s pandering, ladies. I know approximately zero conservatives who actually believe Rudy has changed his mind about guns or will appoint strict constructionists. Mmmhmm. Tell that to the New Yorkers who can’t legally defend themselves.

I hate to say it, but Whoopi is coming across in political discussions as the only non-idiot these days — and that is scary. People cheer for these women, y’all. And I just argue with them from my comfy chair. Elisabeth can’t hold her own in a political discussion, because even though she pwn3d Rosie that one time, she’s still like, “I’ll just say my opinion quietly and let Joy talk over me as if my opinion doesn’t count. Take me, Tim!” Whoopi actually said something with which I agree. Judges don’t make law, they interpret it! Novel concept, that. Not to be outdone, Joy is trying to make her “war is never necessary, I hate Bush, impeach Cheney” nuttery sound more reasonable and herself sound less bitter. It doesn’t, and she doesn’t, but I applaud the effort halfheartedly.

When Sherri Shepard was guest hosting over the summer, I thought she was conservative. Regarding a few issues, yeah, but the more she speaks, the more I want to mute the TV… FOREVER!

I can’t believe I started watching this crap again.

2 Snarkbacks to “Tim, take me! - The View today”

  1. Jae says:

Elisabeth has never fully held her own in any political discussion. I’m a conservative too and she always makes me cringe. She has no idea WHY she believes anything and concedes more than anything.

    Sad. Sad sad sad.

  2. Kim says:

The other day, when Barry Manilow refused to come on because he doesn’t agree with Elisabeth’s politics (ah, I love a good example of liberal tolerance) and Whoopi stood up for her? I actually liked Whoopi for about 3 seconds. It skeered me.
