It’s the whole reason I started blogging
When I started blogging at mountaineer musings in 2004, my very first post was a recap of that week’s ALIAS episode. I was sure that I would be blogging TV more than anything.
Of course, I loved blogging so much that mm became a personal blog almost instantly. Over the years, I’ve added American Idol, 24, LOST, Smallville, and CSI: Horatio to the list of shows I love to snark. Alas, I had no time for them all. I have done a lot of TV snark at mm and IMAO (here, here, and here), but not nearly as much as I want.
But things are a little different now. Housewifery is my full-time job, and blogging is my part-time job. And by part time, I mean that I get to devote significant amounts of time to blogging. And this TV blog has been on my wishlist for many moons.
I still won’t do many liveblogs, because in some cases, “live”blogging takes me three hours for a one-hour show. American Idol anyone? I can’t help it, I’m thorough! Anyway, Frank likes to get to bed on time, so I’ll either do a quick snark at night (except in the case of AI and the occasional slow-TV night) or full snark the morning after. Either way, there will be fantastical snarking for your consumption.
Also, Cadet Happy, also known as the evil fake sarahk, will be the resident reality TV snarker. Plus he’ll do lots of funny photoshops for the purpose of making fun of shows. And making fun of me. Because he *loves* to do that. We’ll have a picture of him later.
There are still some changes to be made. I need to tweak the comments and add some plugins to make your reading more enjoyable, and Cadet is making the banner.
So. Welcome to Snark Raving Mad! (I’ll probably tire of the exclamation point soon, but for now, I’m owning it.)

Thanks, y’all!
Tammi, I’m glad it was you. ;-)
Karen, I do 24. Have never watched The Closer, and I’ve never heard of MI5. I’m willing to look into them and see if I would enjoy them. And the point of the picture is to be super-swank and super-snarky. So yay!
nightfly, you rhyme! some of the time!
Laura, that’s so funny. I almost went with an ALIAS and called myself Snarky McSnarkerson. Pretty close! And thanks for bookmarking me!
Jae, hooray!
lottiedottie, that’s not even half of them. Hahaha. Those are just CBS and NBC. I have about five or six more networks to list. Ack!

Mrs. sarahk,
good luck with this blog. If is half as good as your other blog it will be, to use a Boston term wicked (that’s a good thing). As an Irishman, I lift a glass and bless this blog and all who write here. fair play to you.
all the best,
ceann rua

Oooo, wicked! You’ve made it now!
It’s so weird that it’s mostly a Boston/New England word of praise, should be all over the place IMO.
Wicked cool, can’t wait for your snarking to begin :)

laura, thanks.
carmen, thank you very much! and i put the characters together in the banner, but Cadet Happy did all the amazing photoshopping.
bikermommy, the Unit bores us. We tried it for a while but just couldn’t get into it. Plus, all those nasty women just made me want to pull my own hair out. No money to send, sorry. And aha! Finally the truth comes out. You were the one sending Fakey the pictures way back when, huh?

tracey, you’re too kind… And yeah, I’m a little scary as Starbuck. My favorite is also Sydney. Though I really like being Poor-la.

Yay! Congrats on the new blog. Consider me a contributor if you need one - I watch and get all sardonic about all of the VH1 shows.
Also, the SpamahK up there? Kind of looks like a man. Sorry.
